Advanced
Genres
Most students begin with Rock and then explore Pop and Funk. Jazz, Blues, and shuffles are also essential styles that we cover. I can help you discover your preferred genre, including Hip Hop and Rap!
Intermediate
Rhythm
You will learn to sight-read drum notation and understand time signatures through various methods, tailored to your learning style. I’ll guide you through counting, singing, clapping, and even jumping in rhythm to help you grasp the concept of timing!
Bronze
Rudiments
Drumming goes beyond just alternating Right and Left strikes. There are essential rudiments every drummer should master. While how you apply them musically is up to you, I'll be here to guide you through the techniques to make it happen.
Silver
Exams
Trinity Guildhall exams are an optional path for students. They are not mandatory and will be considered by both myself and the student as progress is made over time.

I adapt my teaching to match each student’s unique learning style because everyone is different, and everyone is genuinely welcome in my class. I aim to guide you toward becoming a self-sufficient drummer—someone who can learn songs by ear, set up your kit effectively, and approach new sheet music with confidence. Ultimately, your progress is in your hands; the effort you put in will determine what you get out of it
